You approve everything
Nothing is published to a channel without your explicit action and final approval.
Your content, your rights
You keep full ownership of your videos and metadata. We claim no rights to them.
Free and Premium
A Free plan with usage limits, and a Premium subscription without them that you can cancel any time.
Platform rules apply
YouTube, TikTok and Instagram have their own terms, and you must follow them.
1The service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of UnkiSocialManager ("the app"), provided by Vitalik Korjenevich ("we", "us", "our"). The app is a local-first Windows desktop application for managing your own social channels: preparing videos, generating titles, descriptions and tags with optional AI help, scheduling and publishing, reviewing analytics and researching trends. By installing or using the app you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2License to use the app
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the app on devices you own or control, within the limits of your plan. You may not copy, sell, rent, sublicense, reverse engineer or redistribute the app, bypass its license checks or usage limits, or use it to build a competing service, except where the law allows it regardless of this restriction.
3Plans & limits
- Free: core features with usage limits, such as uploads per week and AI researcher requests per day.
- Premium: no upload or AI researcher limits, on up to three devices per license.
- To verify your plan the app signs you in with Google and contacts our license service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
- Premium is a subscription you start inside the app (see Subscriptions & payment), or it is activated with a license key.
- The app has to reach our license service at least every few days to keep Premium active. Offline, Premium ends when the last confirmation expires, and the Free limits need a connection for each counted action.
- You must not share license keys or accounts beyond the device limit.
3aSubscriptions & payment
- Plans and prices. Premium costs $3 per month or $28.80 per year. The price, the billing period and any applicable taxes are shown on the checkout page before you pay.
- Merchant of Record. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Creem, which is the Merchant of Record for all orders: Creem sells the subscription to you, processes the payment, collects and remits sales tax or VAT where it applies, and handles refunds and chargebacks. Your card statement shows a charge from Creem. Creem's own terms apply to the payment.
- Automatic renewal. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period, at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel it. If a renewal payment fails, Creem may retry it; Premium stays active for a short grace period and then ends if no payment succeeds.
- How to cancel. Cancel at any time in the app: account menu → Manage subscription, which opens Creem's customer portal. You can also use the link in your payment receipt email. Cancelling stops future renewals.
- End of the period. After you cancel, Premium stays active until the end of the period you already paid for; then the app returns to the Free plan. Your data on your computer is not affected.
- Plan changes. Switching between monthly and yearly is done in the customer portal; any proration is calculated by Creem and shown there.
- Refunds. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy. If a payment is refunded or charged back, the Premium period it paid for ends.
4Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the content you create, upload, schedule and publish through the app, and for the accuracy of the metadata you approve.
- You must have all rights needed to use and publish your content, including music, footage and likenesses.
- You must comply with applicable laws and with the terms and community guidelines of every connected platform.
- You are responsible for keeping your computer, platform accounts and API keys secure.
5Publishing & approval
By default the app only reads from your channels. Changing a channel (uploading, editing metadata, changing visibility, thumbnails or schedules) requires you to turn on publishing mode and to give final approval to each batch. Optional automation, if you enable it, acts only on your behalf, within the limits you set, and you can turn it off at any time. The app keeps a local audit log of what it did. Actions you approve are yours: you are responsible for their results on your channels.
AI-prepared titles, descriptions and tags are suggestions. Review them before you approve; we cannot guarantee they are accurate, appropriate or compliant with a platform's rules.
6Third-party platforms
The app connects to services you choose: Google and YouTube, TikTok, Instagram (with more social networks to be added over time) and, optionally, AI providers. Your use of them is subject to their own terms and policies, including the YouTube Terms of Service, the TikTok Terms of Service and the Instagram Terms of Use. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by these companies, and we are not responsible for their availability, quotas or changes to their APIs. A platform may limit or suspend access at any time; some features may then be unavailable. How the app handles platform data is described in the Privacy Policy.
7AI features
AI output can be wrong, incomplete or similar to existing content. You decide what to use. If you enable a cloud AI provider with your own API key, you are responsible for that provider's charges and terms. Local models run on your hardware and quality depends on the model you choose.
8Acceptable use
You agree not to use the app to:
- publish unlawful, infringing, deceptive, hateful or harmful content, or spam;
- circumvent platform limits, manipulate views or engagement, or operate accounts you are not authorized to manage;
- attack, overload or probe our license service, or tamper with entitlements, device checks or usage counters;
- collect other people's data without a lawful basis.
9Privacy
Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what stays on your computer and what our license service stores.
10No warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will always be compatible with third-party APIs. Back up important files; the app works with copies where possible, but you are responsible for your originals.
11Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, UnkiSocialManager and its author are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, or for loss of data, content, channel standing, revenue or profits arising from your use of the app or of connected platforms. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have by law that cannot be waived.
12Termination
You can stop using the app at any time. Uninstalling it does not delete its local data or stored credentials; use Reset local data first, as described in the Privacy Policy, where you can also read how to delete your license account. We may suspend or end your license if you materially breach these Terms or abuse the service. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as warranty and liability) will survive termination.
13Changes to the app and these Terms
We may update the app and these Terms. We will change the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, notify you in the app or on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
